Connecting with Talent, Reducing Hiring Risk: Virginia Resources for Employers

Finding and developing talent doesn’t have to be a challenge.

Join us to learn how InternshipsVA and Virginia Career Works help Virginia employers strengthen their workforce through internships, work-based learning, hiring incentives, and regional workforce partnerships.

InternshipsVA helps employers build high-impact internship programs by providing one-on-one guidance, connecting organizations with colleges and universities across Virginia, and offering a 50% matching grant to eligible employers with 1–150 employees to help offset intern wages.

Virginia Career Works helps employers navigate the regional workforce system through work-based learning opportunities, hiring incentives, and workforce partnerships. Programs such as Talent Up NOVA connect eligible displaced federal workers and contractors with Northern Virginia employers, while on-the-job training opportunities may reimburse a portion of an eligible new employee’s wages as they gain occupational experience.

Discover how these programs can help your organization attract talent, reduce hiring costs, and build a stronger workforce.
