Robert shapes Naltec’s strategic direction, including broadening its vision, accelerating innovation, and positioning the company for long-term growth. Since stepping into the role in 2018, he has transformed Naltec from primarily a government satellite communications device manufacturing business into a global leader in advanced communications and assured positioning, navigation, and timing (APNT) solutions. Today, Naltec leverages emerging satellite and mobile technology to solve the evolving global connectivity and navigation needs of both commercial enterprise and government customers worldwide.
Previously, Robert led the development and delivery of sophisticated surveillance and tactical communication solutions for special operations and intelligence at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division. He drew on this leadership experience to guide the strategic merger of NAL Research with Blue Sky Network in 2024 and subsequent rebrand into the single “Naltec” entity in 2026. Under Robert’s direction, the unified Naltec is now positioned at the forefront of the global communications and APNT market.
Robert holds his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Ga., and a Master of Arts in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College in Newport, R.I.
